Hi, I’m Sebastian RLK Kingston — a storyteller, a dreamer, and the founder of The Kingston Children’s Foundation.
The stories I write come from a deep love for children and a belief that imagination is powerful. Much of my inspiration began with my beloved dog, Jasmine. Her loyalty, curiosity, and gentle spirit helped shape the magical worlds I now share with young readers.
But these books are more than enchanting adventures. They are part of a larger mission — to bring wonder to children while also supporting those who are facing hardship. Every story I create is written with heart, purpose, and the hope that it can make a real difference in a child’s life.
A journey inspired by jasmine
My children’s books come from my imagination and from a deep love of storytelling. My journey began with my beloved dog, Jasmine. Her loyalty, curiosity, and gentle spirit inspired Jasmine and the Backyard Kingdom and the magical world that followed. What started as whimsical stories about friendship and adventure slowly grew into something much bigger for me — a belief that stories could build something real.
That belief led me to create The Kingston Children’s Foundation, a registered nonprofit in Ohio dedicated to supporting orphans and children in need. I don’t write simply to entertain. I write to spark wonder in young minds while also raising meaningful support for children facing hardship.
For me, storytelling is a promise — a promise that imagination can inspire kindness, and that kindness, when put into action, can create real change.
